THE UN VOLUNTARY TRUST FUND FOR ASSISTANCE IN MINE ACTION

Established in 1994, the Voluntary Trust Fund for Assistance in Mine Action (UN VTF) was created by UN Member States as a single entry point to fund Mine Action work. The “five pillars of mine action”, are: clearance, risk education, victim assistance, stockpile destruction and advocacy for a world free of the threat posed by landmines and explosive remnants of war.
