Welcome to the United Nations

25th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors and United Nations Advisers

The 25th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors and United Nations Advisers (NDM-UN25) will take place from 23 to 24 June 2022 at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) premises in Geneva. UNMAS, on behalf of the United Nations Inter-Agency Coordination Group on Mine Action, would like to thank the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs for its generous contribution making this event possible. We are grateful to the GICHD for its support, especially for coordinating the sponsorship programme of this meeting.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for mine action leaders to meet in-person for two days of meaningful exchanges and purposeful networking with a view to addressing the challenges facing the mine action sector under the overarching theme: “Safe Ground, Safe Steps, Safe Home”.

Following the APMBC Intersessional Meetings (20-22 June) also at WIPO, NDM-UN25 will be an in-person gathering with some sessions accessible online. Participants are invited to register online on Indico (for registration questions, contact unmasgeneva@un.org).
