UNIFIL peacekeepers from Tanzania donated stationary items like books, notebooks, colouring kits, chairs and sports equipment to Al-Hanan School for special needs in Abbasiyeh, south Lebanon.
The director of the School, Mohammed Al Zein, expressed his gratefulness for the support, adding that the two-day visit to the school, and interaction with the children made them happy.
UNIFIL peacekeepers regularly carry out a number of activities, like this one, in support of the communities they serve. This play a key role in strengthening connections with local communities as they are addressing their needs.
