The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Mr. Zahir Tanin, welcomed the chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Pristina, Ambassador Pavel Bílek, at UNMIK Headquarters on 4 February 2019.
The Ambassador and the SRSG discussed a number of issues, including the latest political developments in Kosovo and the European Union-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. The Ambassador expressed support for the work of UNMIK particularly in the areas of inter-community trust-building and the empowerment of women and youth.
