The Peacekeeping Open Data Portal provides data in machine-readable formats (e.g., CSV, XLS), accompanied by notes on terms used and methodological heuristics. It supports the shared agenda of the UN Secretariat and Member States to improve transparency through the regular release of specific high-requests datasets in modern accessible formats.
We anticipate that the data will be used by Member States, journalists, training partners, academia and think tanks, as well as the public at large. We intend to keep expanding the datasets based on the feedback we receive from you the users.
